Working At Peru
We recognise the importance of professional and personal development and growth. Our consultants work on exciting projects with genuine autonomy, and are empowered to accelerate their careers in the direction they want.
We want our people to work on exciting and energising engagements with our clients and to build strong and lasting relationships. We take pride in our work and ensure we always deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients; and whilst this can be demanding, it is always rewarding.
We also fully support a strong work-life balance. Internal administration is kept to a minimum, giving everyone the opportunity to focus on client engagements and contribute to the development of Peru. We also actively support home working, so there is no competition to see who leaves the office last.
You do not need to have a management consulting background to join Peru Consulting. In fact, we encourage IT professionals who have worked in end-user enterprise environments or for leading IT service providers as the experience gained in these organisations can be invaluable to our clients.
But you will have to have shown commitment to an entirely independent organisation and a desire to undertake high-calibre work for a blue-chip client base.
You will need to show us a substantive track record of 5+ years with another large consulting firm, service provider or have worked within the CIO/IT function of a leading UK or Global organisation. You will also have delivered major IT related service, technical and/or commercial change.
We would also expect you to offer substantial subject matter knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
• IT Strategy
• IT Enterprise and Solution Architecture
• IT Sourcing and Commercial Management
• IT Operating Models
• Programme Management
• Service Management
As an individual, you will be team-oriented, self-motivated and a strong communicator, with the ability to work across varied types of engagements and client environments. We would expect to see ambition and a desire to play an integral role in Peru's future development.
While these may be serious expectations, we want people that don't take themselves too seriously. You will need to be able to build strong relationships quickly with client and supplier stakeholders and that needs an easy and engaging personality.
Most of all, you will be someone who always puts the client first and focuses on delivering their required outcomes.
